Brooklyn Earick Rules Out Tottenham Hotspur Buyout Proposal After Approach

American tech entrepreneur Earick has rejected submitting an official acquisition offer for the North London club.

Tottenham had previously “firmly declined” an preliminary inquiry from a syndicate led by the American last month and insisted the club was not for sale.

Yet UK takeover and merger rules stipulated that, having had an informal proposal declined, the group needed to make an offer by 24 October or state they would refrain.

Official word of the choice was made in a release made by Tottenham to the London Stock Exchange, confirming the club is “no longer in an offer period.”
